ABOUT COMPOUND

Our standards

How Compound is written, checked and paid for, and what it will never publish.

What Compound is

Compound is Reva Money’s publication on wealth and money in India, for families with ₹50 lakh to ₹25 crore invested, their CAs and their advisers. It explains new rules, rates, funds and data. It is analysis and education, not investment advice. Reva Money is not a SEBI-registered investment adviser.

What we will never publish

  • Paid or sponsored pieces. No fund house, bank, broker or platform pays for anything on Compound.
  • Recommendations to buy, sell or hold a fund, share, PMS, AIF, SIF or deposit. When we name a product, it is to explain a rule or a number, never to promote it.
  • Tips, return predictions or price targets.
  • Ways to sell an investment to save tax. Past-gains facts and tax rules, yes; suggested sales, no.
  • Invented interviews, quotes or readers.

Every number has a source

Each figure in a piece links to where it came from, listed under Sources at the end. We use the primary source where one exists: the Gazette, SEBI and RBI circulars, AMFI files, the Income Tax Department and the Finance Act. When only a news report has the figure, we say so. Worked examples show their inputs so you can redo the sums.

Who writes and checks

Pieces are written by the Reva team. Drafts can start with AI research and writing tools. A person at Reva approves every essay before it is published; no essay publishes on its own.

Compound Today is different. An automated check reads the SEBI, RBI, AMFI, CBDT, MoSPI, PFRDA, NSDL and CDSL websites each morning and adds new items, each linked to its official source, without a person reviewing them first. Follow the source before acting on an item.

How Reva makes money

Reva is a read-only net-worth app. It sells no financial products and takes no commissions, so Compound has nothing to sell you. Pieces may mention Reva where it is relevant, and say so plainly.

When we get it wrong

We fix it in the piece and log the fix, with the date and what changed, on Corrections. To report an error, email hello@revamoney.xyz with the page and what you think is wrong.
